Ok whenever i don't give the car much gas say i'm drivin real slow or what not the car i guess goes into od or 4 gear. Its and automatic and it startes to vibrate hella bad. But as long as i give it gas like a decent bit say rev over say 2500 or 3000 it doesn't vibrate only when i'm drivin slower or at a complete stop. Also one day i got on the gas to see what the car could do felt like i was flying but when i let of the gas after attainin i don't know what speed speedo is broke it vibrated bad as hell as the car slowed down.

Start out by flushing your tranny fluid and having the filter changed in it. Having a shop do this should cost somewhere around $75.

OK everyone knows my little tranny problem i want to say forget rebuilding the auto. I want to switch out for the R154. Do you guys think a regular transmission shop will do so? I was messing with another supra like mine today he got a head of me and stayed at least a car length infront of me. I asked why his took off so fast and he said its cause its a manual. So hell i'm going to go for it. Can anyone give me a ball park figure of how much the labor will be if i can get all the parts.

He didn't jump on you because it's a manual. He jumped on you because he's likely making more power than you are.
With a built/modified auto, you'll outrun any manual Supra, providing you actually have the power needed. You can probably do the tranny swap yourself. It's really not that difficult. |

If you plan on making any sort of decent power, I suggest sending it to a performance transmission shop if you have the money. Most regular transmission shops will only do a stock rebuild.
