I have 2 91 supra turbos. One is a 5 speed and the other is an auto. My question is, is the gear ratio in the auto shorter than in the 5 speed. If it is, im swaping rear end guts. Thanks for your replies

No. All '91 turbo cars have 3.73 rear gear ratios. Search around, I seem to remember alot of info has been posted on gear ratios.

check it yourself, get in, put auto in manual or take it all the way up to 5500 hundred or whatever redline is, and do it in both, see what your mph is, do it for whatever gears u want. Then there is a ratio and some math you need to do, just look at shift points and top speeds if you are able to.
