Im just wrapping up my automatic to 5 speed conversion. and i am having trouble finding the drivers side wing bracket that goes to from the block to the tranny. What i was wondering is if i could just take some plate steel, maybe 1/4" or 1/2", and just fab a bracket what do you guys think???

I think that if you had it bolt to the same holes you shouldnt have a problem.
