I'm about to go get an 87 supra, but man I'm not sure, the trans is damaged on it, and I don't know a lot about transmissions, was thinking of swapping for a manual but that might be too much work. anyone have an idea how much parts are for the trans??

If you get lucky, you can find a 5-speed swap package from someone parting out a 5 speed car. I've seen them go for anywhere between $500-750 depending on the condition/mileage of the transmission.

sounds like an idea, whew, seems like a lot may have to take it to a pro, I just hope they don't charge a lot, I'm surprised you can still find parts granted its old, I'll know more info next week so I'll have a better idea of want I want to do.
