i have a Toyota supra 7mgte i want to convert the auto to manual and im thinking of picking up a manual gearbox of a 1ggte w54 before buying the gearbox would it fit to a 7mgte block or any one has done the conversion like this could help me thanks

Why not just get an R154 and save yourself the headache of REswapping later? The R's are freaking bulletproof. The W58's aren't so strong, so I could only assume the W54 is even weaker.

I been searching for so long and cannot get my hand on one and if i do come by one its a arm and a leg.

That's just how much they are gonna cost you dude. It'll be worth it I'm sure, I don't have one myself yet but I'm planning on getting one quite soon.
