i think i have the wrong driveshaft in my car, i have an 86.5 n/a 5spd and i measured the back half of the driveshaft from the diff to the center support bearing and compared it to my friends 86.5 n/a 5spd driveshaft and mine was WAY shorter, like 3 or 4 in. and i go through center support bearings like no other, to me it seems like the back half of the driveshaft is short, is that possible, well it seems like obv it is. lol, but how the F*^% could that happen to change like that.

umm yeah i fixed it, turns out the back half of the driveshaft was 2 inches shorter than it should have been, grabbed one from salvage yard and it fits right in, perfectly, carrier bearing looks good too :-)
