I have a 92 supra TT 1g-gte but its has an automatic tranny. I want to know which 5-spd tranmission will work for that engine. If anyone could let me know that would be awesome.

I have never swapped out a tranny. Would the switch be a fairly easy one or will it just be a hassle

well im in the middle of a auto to 5 spd swap right now. its a pain but it will be worth it. i heard the auto tranny can only handle arround 300hp, the W58 can handle a litte over 400hp so depending on what your power goals are. if you do decide to do the swap make sure you have everything you need before you start.

you usualy have to get the parts off another car thats what i did. i know horsepowerfreaks.com haves good prices on parts. and its hard to get parts form toyota a lot of them are unavilable. i had a buddy of mine give me everyting i needed for $200. but its hard to finde a deal like that. if you need a list of the parts you need let me know.

My automatic tranny went out so im converting as well, wont the R154 work to? I heard it was a more rugged tranny. Also could the Clutch Pedal Assembly be pulled off any other cars like an r-x7 or 280z same with the clutch lines arnt they pretty universal?
