will the 7m n/a tranny bolt to the 1jz engine because im dropping a new engine in my 87 if it will it would be nice to know so i can drive it for the time being. when i get around to hp upgrades im going to put in a 5 speed. but dont have the money now.

Sure, as long as you have the correct disc to match the input shaft and bellhousing.

Why not use the trans the 1JZ came with?
