I hated redline..I had much better luck w/ royal purple, but it stinks up the cabin as it smells funny. I think it takes 3.5 quarts, but I don't really remember (and I just did mine a few months ago...go figure roll eyes).

redline MT90.. not sure about amount though. It can help alleviate the second gear synchro problem.

if uve ever heard of synergyn racing lubes, they have xtremly good tranny fluid, my boss put it in his truck w/ the turbo 400 tranny in it(chevy, but as an example) its an auto and it shifted smoother, faster, and it didnt even smell at all, im not sure but it might be cheaper than the royal purple too, even tho id buy that if i couldnt get synergyn. and if n e of u were wonderin, im not a newbie, my old username was andrewjack87, i jus needed sumthin better, lol.

75w90.... Weight, well I never put it on a scale. Wink Big Grin
"W" in case you didnt know, means winter. 10W30 is the same. W just means winter.

Why is what winter? The lower the number the colder the temperature it can handle and maintain viscosity. Its not thicker, its not heavier. The W is just to make it easy. Thats why there is no W on a 30 or 40 with engine oil. I was just being smart, I didnt realize you didnt know.

In Tressel we trust.
