u can try and run a hot wire to the plug on the starter from the battery be sure to be very careful when doing this wouldnt want to touch anything but that damn plug! i wouldnt do it cause i'd end up fucking something up!!! good luck!

there's a way to bypass the neutral start switch. thats how people use remote starters on their manual cars i believe...?
anyways, you just need to find it, figure out what kind of switch it is, (like if when you press it, it makes a connection, or if it is released to make a connection or whatever) most likely it is released. check with a multimeter. stick the probes through the insulation on either side of the switch, and turn the multimeter on 'sound' or 'beep' or the little loudspeaker icon. press in the clutch, and if it makes a beep, that means that its making a connection when you release the button. to bypass it, you can cut out the switch/ or unplug it, and possibly connect the wires for it together and have it work. this is all a hypothesis though, as i havent done it. i know you can get around it though... just give it a whirl! -shaeff |

its an automatic though. I thought there would be a way though just connect to the 2 wires together instead of going threw the switch. But the problem is im pretty sure on the automatic cars that the switch is under the car because i have the hole thing dissambled right now. as it is sitting in storage theres not a whole lot of room to work on it. i still havent got it home which cause, down here in canada we have been getting hit with snow fall after snow fall and the back tires on the car are pretty much bawled and i dont feal like going into a ditch with it haha. but yah thanks for the help shaeff

heh, thats actually almost easier then if it's an automatic. under the car theres the harness for the tranny. find the plug for the switch (which is in the tranny) and make a jumper wire out of a 3" piece of wire and two spade connectors and simply jump the connection. this is what some people have to do if they use an automatic wiring harness in a manual car. good luck!
