Just how much rwhp can the upgraded A340E handle?

$2875 is a big chunk of change. But not being 18, I dont like shifting. So I would consider parting with the change.

The only reason I would go to the track is to see how quick it runs. It wouldnt be a club racing thing.

nick - im not sure if you know this or not, but there is a company (im not sure which one) that makes adaptive bellhousings so that you can use a domestic automatic that will handle the torque. Could save you some cash and make things easier if the parts break and you need a new tranny.

Im nowhere near that power level and do not wish to be with a street car. Tranzdude's link goes to the page that sells the domestic kits.

He is talking 9.99 and faster. Im talking 11.5's at most. I dont think I have the fuel system to support that kind of power on my GE block or computer.
