no i dont want 2 pennies! but what do you guys feel about a bpu supra having 2 blow off valve. one on the intercooler pipe, the other one right next to the thorttle body.? any input? if it would make it louder but bad in a way? im planning on putting 2 hks ssbov but then i want to hear about your inputs. any pos/con?

usually the reason for having 2 ssq bov's is to handle the volume and boost of an upgraded turbo....it pretty much sounds the same with 1 or 2 bov` from the cars that i heard....as far as placement im not 100% sure but i would imagine that would be more efficient to mount them together on a single turbo supra and i dont really think it would matter as much on a bpu

I agree with supra180. It can be done as you well know but on the set up you have right now, it wouldn't really be worth it. But if that's the route you want to go right now, more power to you. Good luck with it.

it will be louder but at only 18psi there is no reason to have two. the more i am around bovs the more i realize they are just useless noise makers to attract attention. a stock bov is all you need. do the twin stock bov if you must have 2.

usuallly at around 20psi the stocker loses its effectivness. depending on how much boost you run you will probably only need 1 good bov (aftermarket) with the 61. on the ic pipe is the best place to mount it.

side note: wow my 2000th post!

getting the racing bov at bpu is a waste. it will surge more than blow off.

you only get that sound from a single turbo supra most of the time.

I'am not too sure about 2 blow off valves I have seen a lot that do it but I'am guessing you'll need to be running high boost levels to make it worthwhile I got an HKS SSQV on 10PSI on my 7M and it sounds pretty good and doesn't leak boost like some BOV's

LMFAO

Wow! You know you're broke when you call the fan on the back of your computer a "supercharger".

Well I don't know but people have told me the GReddy type s will leak at certain boost levels, I got my HKS SSQV mainly for fact it doesn't leak but then when i installed it i heard the awesome sound it makes plus you can modify the sound with the fins I own the purple and the gold and the silver i currently run the gold the purple only works well at 16 psi or higher
