Hi all, I am new to this discussion board (this is my first posting). I have owned two Supras over the last 12 years, a 1984 Celica Supra 2.8 and a 1989 3.0i MA70 ( non turbo ). Both cars were superb and very reliable. Next week I am going to look at a 1995 MKIV Twin Turbo ( not certain if it is manual or auto yet! ), I live in England and this is one of the very last MKIVs officially imported into the UK before Toyota stopped selling it here due to "noise and emissions". The question I need answering is on their reliability, do they suffer from any particular weaknesses ( for example head gasket failure as per the MA70 turbo ), what things should I particularly look out for, are the turbos reliable etc. This car has covered approx 70,000 miles and has been fully serviced by Toyota from new, it has had no modifications done to it and appears to be immaculate. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. From a future MKIV owner (hopefully).
