quote: True, but how cool is it to own one that is right hand drive? It'll be one of a kind. And maybe you can get a newer supra that is 1999 to the year they end production over there. |

well, i always say if you have an idea then stick it through, just don't forget how much money is involved getting a 1999 and importing it and shit. Besides I doubt there were any major differences, if differences at all between a US spec 1998 and a jap 1999...except for prolly that little front spoiler that comes down with the press of a button but that is only a 3,000 dollar job I was gonna get it done..
my point is, you gotta look at the big picture. Sure its great to drive and own a spec one, but getting certain parts that only work on US spec ones and gettin gused to a new style of driving and shifting is going to be difficult. Don't forget those japanese drifters u see in the super street that everyone looks up to with their pink 240sx's grew up with right hand drive cars.You...obviously...didn't, unless you're some japanese exchange student. Anyways, take my advice or leave it, keep it U.S. spec...save yourself frustration and more importantly $$$$$$ 1993.5 Baltic Blue TT Targa Automatic: tanabe downpipe, greddy type s BOV, clear turn signals, carbon fiber dash, PS2, apexi gt spec exhaust, SSR GT3 18" rims, carbon fiber hood, blitz SUS intake, bomex front bumper (soon: greddy 3 row intercooler) |

There are all over the place. Being in Cali, there should be alot of places to look. I have found most of the "better" cared for supras though are from up north where they haven't been winter driven
