my car boggles at about 5500 rpm when i push it, it seems to be better when car is colder. have no idea why this is. someone said it might need gapping in spark plugs but i changed to denso irediums and they come pregapped. do i need to re gap them? any help would be appreciated.

.028-.032 are usually the best gap for modded supras. your coil packs may also be weak (normal for high milage cars).

if it solves the problem sure, if not then try .028. if the problem continues then you might want to think about getting some new coil packs.

Gapping at .028 is good if you crank up the boost, even on stock twins.

Someone w/ a single turbo on SF gapped it down to .022"!!!! He did it as a way to going around buying the Twin Power. It seemed to work for him.

I gap my sp71 prepped car at .020 with NGK V-powers! that gap is a tight one, but my car runs great at all throttle percentages. I'm not sure on the factory twins (its been a long time since ive had mine) but it seems a tighter gap has been working for me, for your case I would try a gap of .025 - and about the coils, one of my coil packs went bad and caused my car to break up in mid to high rpm's. that could be the case as well
