I had my exhaust mani coated along with turbin houseing.... It turned white and started flaking off and it was supose to be good to 2000deg. Maybe im running to high EGTs. I dunno about that stuff... heat wrap worked better for me.
In anycase... here is a place: http://www.turbo4wd.com/accplus/accessoriesplus.htm -Yash "i ride fast on my camel.... Yah! camel Yah!!!....faster camel yah!!!" |

I sent my, DP, waste gate dump pipe, turbo exhaust housing, header, and another pipe out for jet-hot 2000 coating. I'm in the middle of my single install and haven't used them but they look great! So far, I have heard really good things about the coating. We'll see.
They make it really easy to have done. Go to their website http://www.jet-hot.com/home.html and call the 1-800 number It was about $350 for the above items. |

Here is my only experience with it. My 1990GT's headers were coated from the manufacturer. I didnt realize until a month later when pulling a plug that they held the heat real good because I hit it with my hand. You know how you burn the crap out of your hand on cast iron manifold, even after its been off a while. I had just shut it off 5 minutes ago, and it was no more than warm to the touch. I dont know if it was ceramic coating or not. MAC just called it HTS coating.
