hey guys, im new around here, but thought this may be a good place to get my question answered.

I currently own a 91 nissan 240sx and was thinking about putting a 2j in it. I've found all the necessary items to do it (swap kit and engine) but can't find anyone that makes or knows how to make the wiring harness for it. So do any of you guys know how to make or where i can get the harness made.

Thanks

do you know some advanced wiring its pretty complicated for someone who has never done a basic wiring harness.look at the stock ecu 100 pins maybe your best bet is try toyota or get ready to pay a shit load to get it done it takes a couple days usually to get it made if there deticated to it. remember its got 02 sensors injectors ignition etc. try toyota for a harness probably 2 grand or so or call junkyards all over ur state u may find one why didnt u just buy a front clip makes life a bit easier u know.

alldata get it 50-100 bucks for ur car but u will be able to do this with the existing wiring harness. you want to cut has little out has possible out of the main so ill start simple. lets say elec oil pressure 2 or 3 wire . label the wires 1 2 3 on two sides with white tape in between those two sides cut the center now find wiring of the same diameter and lengthen using soldering and heat shrink do not use butt connecters etc. with the gauges buy a set for a supra everything the supra had oem.

if u have to cut the main connection the the ecu label the same all the way to 100. is this going to be a daily driver?

youll have to smog it then its not difficult hold off on any aftermarket parts install the motor complete with the entire airbox no hacking not one thing lengthed or shortened also the exhaust must be the same length with o2 sensor exactly how the would be on the supra u pulled it from cat the same. than simply smog it at the bar ur done and have a road legal 2jz powered 240. dont use aftermarket intercoolers airboxs etc entirely oem
