What was it like when you first got your mkiv? Did start modifying it right away or wait? Did you burn all the gas in it on your first day? Just curious to see what other people did.

looking for a good mkiv under 15k. Will be spending upwards to 8k to fix it up.

I know when ever I got mine, I think I spent like the first day just drooling and staring at it! LOL! It was such a great feeling to see one of the sweetest cars ever made just sitting in my driveway. When I got mine it wasn't in good shape, the paint was beat and dented, so I pretty much just took it to get redone. Then after I got it repainted then I drove it all the time and still do. I have just started to do some mods to it, but just enjoyed it in its stock form for a while. Either way Supras just kick so much ass!

The first day I got my Supra at my driveway, I slept like a mofo, lol. I bought it from Chicago area and it was a 16 hour drive home.

Then I washed and waxed it. Then I realized I bought a pos after knowing more about the Supra's, lol. Oh well, my car now, my problem.

let me tell you something, it will probably be that way as long as you own it. there will always be something that isnt just right or could be improved/fixed. thats the down side of owning your dream car. Cool

Well i have owned my 96 for about 5 months and have still only seen pictures of it. My wife gets to drive it so at least she is happy. Although i was also graced with a piece of crap money pit, but its slowly coming around.

when i bought mine, it was near perfect, heavily modded, but done right, super clean black paint, perfect everything, the only things i needed to do was re-upholster the door panels, and add a radio because the factory one was a true piece of crap, but all in all i was lucky. but i paid for what i got,35k for a 95 single conversion, with 45k in reciepts worth of engine mods and a very picky owner.

damn.....when I got mine, it was the best day of my life,,, no joke man - I seen my car on autotrader, liked the pics, called the guy up on some info, so far so good. Im from chicago, the car was in the heart of TEXAS! so I took a long shot, and bought some plane tickets to texas with a nice check on hand. Got their, TEXANS ARE THE BEST! the people were nice as hell, plus the guys wife (you think you've seen in a milf in your day! shit!) but yeah there the car was sitting on a ranch, I nearly shit my pants, and while having a stroke handed the check! I thanked god for this glorious day, than left, on my way home through Oklahomo we got caught in a vicious tornado, it was straght raining like a beast!!!! IT SUCKED! AND IT WAS DAMN SCARY!!! so we pulled into a rest stop and slept the night (sleeping in the supra for the first time was the worst and best sleep ive ever had!) Than we woke up in the morning, the street was dry, the sun was damn blasting like no other! damn nice day it was, so I cruised the best cruise of my life towards home. and I felt like I was on top of the world.......I LOVE MY SUPRA!
