Hi, I have been a Supra owner for almost 4 years now and bought the car from my boyfriend so it has really been in my life for nearly 10 years. I was walking out of the store the other day and I saw this beautiful car, WOW, I thought that care is really nice. OOOPs realized it was MY car (felt like the bear in old hat new hat- Dr. Seuss) But, gee what an awesome feeling to fall in love with your 14 year old car in a heartbeat. SO... the big problem is that it is getting up there in years and things are bound to stop working. SO, how do I know who to trust if I just decide to give her a full makeover... and what does that entail? I know we are looking at transmission (auto), exhaust (had a hole, now held together with $250 weld), engine?? (she seem ok so far), what about electrical ?harness?, etc. AND please don't reply if you just want to explain to me why I should just sell her to you ;-)

you forgot to mention: turbo or non-turbo... if its turbo check to see if turbo is still running strong... if the car is NA, just maintain the services like replacing all fluids to manufacture recommendation...

If the engine is still healthy then I say keep her. She's a part of the family now. Get all regular maintenance done by toyota dealer if you care about her.
