The car came untuned and I have installed an AEM wide band so it’s some what tuned at 14 psi.

1st Question
I know that the base fuel pressure is supposed to be around 40-42 psi at idle. I have heard three different ways to checking it.
1st is to have just the ignition on with out the car running.
2nd have the car idling and adjust it.
3rd is to have it idling but to pinch the vacuum hose going to the aeromotive fuel pressure.

I am not sure what is the best way to check it and it makes about 4psi difference on which way I do it.

2nd Question.
The auto trans is only good for about 400 whp. I want to keep the car drivable and cruiseable on the street but also be able to hold 700+hp when I run it at the strip with Nos. The TH-400 power glide would work but not very street able on the highway with out high rpms.

3rd Question.
I used all my cash I had available to buy the car so I don't have a lot of spare cash now. Should I go ahead and get the new trans even though the trans is still fine or do I go ahead and spend the money on installing an AEM standalone.

Thanks for all the help. This is my first Supra and I love it.
