so let me get this straight, when you plant the pedal straight to the floor, aka wide open throttle, it waits until redline to shift? thats perfectly normal. my parents chevy truck does that when i get on it.

may im not explaining it right. yes at wide open throttle it waits until it is on the rev. limiter(not red line) aleast 2 second on the rev lim. so it is popping and carring on u can either back out so it will shift or just waiting until it does finally make the shift long after it should have( as if u just held it in 1st gear and decided not to shift the lever) not like your families chevy truck that does it before the rev limiter not during the limiting process any better at explaining?

And the manually mode in the trans doesn't work it comes on blinks a couple times then goes off any help to a fellow supra guy sure would be nice

doesnt really sound like a mechanical problem, more like the ecu isnt sending the signal to shift. has it always done this? do you have the trac fuse pulled? have you scanned it for trouble codes? sounds kinda like either the speed sensor or throttle position sensor arent sending the signal or a solenoid is malfunctioning.

no codes at all in it. it started after the exuasht was put on it built only 2 more pounds of boost. im checking the throttle postion sensor to see if it isn't were it needs to be ( any one have a good setting were it seems to run best? IM going to check the speed sensors as well just give it a good looking over.. thanks for the ideas guys keep them coming im sick of the mustang boys and there lip smack so any help with making it nasty would be greatfully apric.
