has anyone ever purchased a supra from one of these insurance salvage companies? the one I know of is autosourcenow.com... some of the cars they list as "light mechanical repairs needed" with nothing else wrong with the car and they are super cheap. they are usually theft recovery or flood damages...etc...I'm not really worried about resale value because I will probably have the car forever...what's involved in this process and clearing a salvaged title supra? would it be beneficial seeing as I dont have 25-30,000 bucks to pruchase one in great condition?

you posted in the right section. those insurance salvage things are usually scams. they tell you they have a car for sale because of flood damage or something but all they do is get you to buy a membership to their site and the wont actually have the car.

Yea, a lot of that is scams, if ya want a salvaged supra ya could always search junkyards for a supra thats not too bad and rebuild it, of course over time thats almost as expensive as buying a 20k supra. I don't hardly have enuff money to repair maintain and tune my mk3 but i love it and I love mk4's too, although i won't own one for a while. We are all gonna end up like those old dudes who worship 69 camaro SS's and Yenko's, LOL be 2025 searching for a 97 LM TT 6 speed. haha.
