I noticed that my antifreeze is brown in my 94TT sock. I don't know why its brown, or what the previous owner could of done.
But I was wondering if anyone has tips about flushing out the system, without using a flushing kit? Is it easy to locate the drain cock for the coolant under the engine? Cause I remember I could not find this on my 89Supra. Is it OK just to drain the system put new antifreeze and distilled water without flushing? I mean It should get most of the crap out of there. |

Dude...spend the $20 and get a flush kit for your system.
Using the Radiator flush will remove rust and other crap from your entire system as well as re-coat the inside of the system. Trust me...it is worth the money....unless you want to replace the radiator and heater core later!! This flush will also clean the coolant channels within your engine as well. I'm sure you realize that a cooler engine runs more effeciently!! |

Remember that MKIV Supras use the Toyota "red" coolant. That is why your coolant appears brown...
