I just dynod my car for the first time this weekend. The results were bad. I am basically bpu except for a downpipe. The guy i bought the car from told me the stock cats were hollowed. I set my boost controller to 1.4 bar and i never made it over 15~psi. My best was 327rwhp and 360lbs of torque. I was not on race gas either. Could this be expected for not having a downpipe?

Probably. The fact that you could not get above 15 psi says something is wrong. You were holding the 15psi to redline though right?

My psi kind of went up and down a little. I wasnt able to hold a certain psi all the way to redline.

That doesn't sound like fuel cut. Fuel cut is very noticeable, it almost feels like the car dies for a second and all the dash lights go on.

I wouldn't worry too much. Just get a downpipe and you should be fine. Thats not a bad number for stock cats and 15psi.

wut did you dyno stock? i made 298rwhp

and on 15psi with 1 cat still in i made 350rwhp and 378tq (new plugs, 93octane, 4got to resetECU)

Tip- seems like your getting timing pulled, make sure you get in new NGK Sparkplugs and reset ECU before you dyno..

PS- that 1 cat does rob alot, and race gas does make a big. diff...

try again with these new things, your power should pick up alot more

Remember, he still has all his cats.

Elliot, what boost controller are you running? That sounds like the limiter function on my SBC-ID. You can set it to cut boost to any predetermined boost level if it exceeds a certain boost level. For instance, I can set my EBC to cut boost down to 16psi if my max boost exceeds 19psi.
