Hi Everyone,
Got my 94TT dynoed a week or so ago. It was a little warm out, probably upper 70s, maybe low 80s and I neglected to reset the ECU and had been "playing" with the car on the way over to the dyno shop and it wasn't let sit and iced for an hour (like a typical newbie I was so excited about getting my car dynoed I didn't do my research before dynoing it). Anyway, the car is completely stock and the run was done with 93 octane fuel. Here's the results:

296.1 RWHP, 279.9 RWTQ

So what does everyone think? Is this pretty typical or am I missing some horsies somewhere. I imagine I am, due to my oversights with resetting the ECU and starting out with a "cool" car.

Here's the sheet from the run:

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Wes

Yeah thats about the right hp and torque. Most stock Supras lose a little hp over time. I've seen a few dynos stock and look like yours.. Good luck with your supra.

i think he was refering to cutting power to the ecu for about 30 min(dont know why you would want to do that for though)

The agents are unstoppable. you have no choice.

From what I've been told you reset the ECU in order to get the timing/retard reset. I guess the ECU learns environmental conditions like what octane fuel you use, etc... and sets the timing accordingly.

Correct. But it is for only 30 sec, not 30 min. No wonder you guys didnt want to do it!

k, not looking for one-upmanship games, was just looking for an honest assesment of my initial dyno run. Nice power out of your MKIII though.
