Just wanted to check on this. Some tool on another board is telling me how his brother helped build a 1600bhp supra??? So I thought I would check it out.

I can't tell you the highest hp ever produced by a Supra, but the highest rwhp on a stock 2JZ with aftermarket cams was 980.55, set by Mike Carlin a little while back. His closest competitor is Peter Blach, who is up to 958. There were a couple magazine articles on these guys and they can be seen at www.to4r.com.

I think the fastest top speed ever by a Supra was the Jun Akira Supra that had over 1400hp, and hit 249.xx, I believe. I'm sure that there are some with more hp, though.

venom supra has 1597hp my friend who is known for alot of bs said there is 5000hp supra hahahahahaha

i saw the dyno vid of marko's single turbo supra. white, auto, 1520 hp, at the wheels. i'll see if i can dig up the video.

That one was a fully built motor and no a/c but an amzazing car....I saw it sold for like $72K on ebay! I heard there was over $100K in the car....does anyone know who bought it???

doesn't phr's do 7.2@190+ 1/4 so i'm guessing it must have a fair bit more bhp than markos 1520rwhp and doesn't titans do a 7.9 @195 that's gotta have over marko's figure surly??

A 2JZ can produce massive horsepower numbers but the only reason they seem to stop around 15-1600hp is because you just aren't hooking up your tires to the ground anymore and your going through driveshafts on a monthly basis. Its all about hooking up thats what turns 7 second 1/4mile timeslips
