Problem: Every time I try to give 100% throttle to the car, it doesnt accelerate harder throughout the powerband, it just "bogs" out. This makes it useless to floor the car. I have always had to baby the pedal and rarely go past 50%.
I am using the SAFC-II, my car was just dyno tunned, but I dont think it was done properly. I really need help from someone who is familular with tunning the SAFC w/ 2JZ's. I just have a few questions. Where should my TH POINTS be? Mine are set @ LOW 52% HIGH 80% My HI THROTTLE from 3400RPM to 7000RPM is at +17% all accross. My LO THROTTLE is pretty much zeroed out. This is what I was left with after the tunning session. J-SPec 2JZ-GTE Engine mods HKS Intake, HKS Exhaust, GReddy BCC, Apexi SAFCII. Stock Twins. |

that is wierd that it is +17 all the way across.
I do not have a 2jz but i do have a 7mgte. When we were tuning mine. We put throttle at 10% and high at 50%. It may be different for 2j's but the stock computer controls all fuel until 75% throttle. We kept my low throttle zero'd out as well since i was still on stock injectors at the time. The only way to tell if you have the same a/f ration across the board is with a wideband. Also if you havent turned up the boost yet....you would probobly be running rich since the turbos are on stock psi. That may cause it. |

My guess
you are probably knocking and the car is pulling timing. That would make it feel like it is bogging down. |

adding 17% is a lot of fuel to be correcting for. i agree with figgie.
