I've got the same thing posted in the MKIII general discussion section, but not getting enough feedback yet...My dad's got an 89 Turbo, and has a bad exhaust manifold gasket. The car's got just over 195k on it, and he figures he might as well rebuild the thing instead of spending so much dough on the labor of replacing the gasket. He doesn't have the time to rebuild it himself, and I live in Hawaii, so I can't do shit for him. He's looking to go for about 300hp, and would like to find either a professional Toyota tech that knows Supras really well, or any other hardcore Supra guys. He lives in Oceanside, so anywhere within a couple hours would probably be acceptable for him. Thanks for the help.

forgot to post this, but theres a place called LAUTO SMOG, its a test and repair station in Stanton, near Anaheim. They also say they specailize on 300ZX's & Toyota Surpa's (even tho they spelled Supra wrong... Supera hahahahha) Ive been there 4 times, they have like 3 Surpas in their garage working on them so they do see Supras there alot. and my friends brother owns the place too this guy might try to rip you off probably, thats wat he did to my bros Golf on his smog, $70 hahaha and he went somewhere else and got it for $40.

Thanks, Supra9010. I'll let my dad know about this. So are either one of these places able to pass any cars that aren't anywhere near capable of passing smog checks? I'll be here in Hawaii until early fall 2006, but when I move back to the Diego area, I'm not gonna want to make my car legal. Thanks again.
