Our i-supra beta chat is up running and limping along slowly. It will improve significantly in the coming weeks.

To access chat simply use the Go menu and follow the links. Report bugs at the bottom of the site in the Eve bug report thread.

Awesome! It is! Hey, its not big and flashy, but does it really need to be? Alls it needs is real time talking, and it has it! Maybe if it showed who is on. Speaking of which, whenever I go on i-Supra, I'm going to log on and see if anyone else is on. I encourage everyone to open it and post at the same time, though be careful because every 2 minutes or so it'll make itself the top window and might mess up what you are talking about. I think it does it also when someone says something in the chat. Well, why are you reading this, go to the chat!

But...



Can you do us/me a favor and grant some people permission to upload an avatar? Or is it based on post count? I'd like to save space and clean up my sig by taking out my avatar, but I dont have 'permission.' And one more thing while you are at it: I'm also aware of the not being able to see other people in the chat. Plus it'll make itself the top window like every 2 seconds and is a wee bit annoying. I know its a *lot* to ask, but can you please try to work it out?

What is supposed to be on/in the white *picture* (right click on it) thats on the right of the chat? Is that where u see the members?

yea i think thats wat is supposed to be, it doesnt show your name on it for some reason... but it does show the moderators name... like tozer..

I believe the graemlins and who is online feature in the right hand column are functional now.

Yes, they do work, you can tell who's online and who isnt, but unfortunately whanever I try to talk, it says "this is a moderated chat, when a moderator approves, your chat will show." or something.

It shows who's online, but does it show who's in the chat room? It shows names on the right side, but you dont know if they are in the chatroom or just signed on to the site. Kinda confusing.

Chat seems to be a joke for now. There's never anyone there. Hopefully it picks up soon

Seems to be working good... Kind of a boring chat.

It will be better once its not just a test anymore. Or atleast that is my guess. What would be awsome would be a chat for each section. Like one for the general MKIV chat or one for the 1JZ section.

I go into the Chat whenever I come on the site and there has never been anyone in there

It is working pretty flawlessly now, but in the winter activity dies down quite a bit, especially for cars that have not been in production for 6 years.

The positive is that we have had 253 new members in the past 30 days, which is great for January. We are well on our way to hitting our goal of 10,000 by the end of the year.

Okay, if the chat is running flawlessly...why isn't ther anyone in it? there are 19 members online yet not one of them in the chat room and it's always like this

The chat is working flawlessly... Just theres no activity there! Its a nice chat, but its just plain boring.
