Some dude is trying to start a boycott on gas Monday May 17. I guess he's just trying to get gas prices to lower a little bit. I hope we all chip in a little bit and just not fill up on this one day. Who knows where this may lead, but it wouldn't hurt that bad to skip a day.

You will simply put off to a later date, the next day, or buy sooner. Raising to above normal the amount of sales that day. The overall demand must change. Change the gas guzzler tax to 10,000 on SUV's for starters. Or 5000 per year tax. 1991 Supra Turbo A340E Sport Roof equiped |

what I have read it was the 19th, but as what others have said on other fourms and as nick said, it won't work, it will just cause the people to buy before or after..

Nick's right. A 100% day off (which won't happen) would be a smack, but the next few days would see a fat spike. Its not as volatile as the stock market at all.

Ooops, I think between my boat, V8 SUV and car I went through about $150 fuel saturday/sunday and bought gas 3 times......guess I'll hafta get the next "boycott day."
