Ok I got a reply form Toyota today, and they put my letter on file at their Headquarters. The reply is posted below. Come on guys Im telling you we can get some attention if we just try hard enough.

WEll good for you xlr8, they replied. The only reason I would not e-mail them is NOT because I dont have any respect for supras(actually the complete opposite)... The reason is because Toyota would pretend like they read my email, when in reality they dont giva damn .

Maybe you should start an online petition of some sort...instead of asking people to email them.

ive read ina car magazine i forget which one but that this october the fifth gen supra is going to be unvieled at big auto show. but i heard 350hp v-6 or the 4.3 v8 from the lexus's. i also heard that we might get the old usa name switcharoo. and get the new supra as a lexus and it not be called a supra. kinda how we used to beg for a skyline and when we finnaly got it was ugly and it was called and infinity g35. and we still havent got the gt-r version. where supose to get it as the infinity x35 though

Well, a petition is good and all. But dont you think they would take personal emials, and personally presented facts, more serious than a big list of names? I actaully thought about a petition, but I thought a lot of people sending emails would be better, and on the other hand also get more atention than a big list of names. Thats before I found out nobody felt like writing them. And I could have done that, but how do they know I didnt just make up a crap-load of names and send them in? I think over all my idea was the best way, again thats persuming everybody would have done their part.

Thanks. I'm still hopeful! It could be unveiled at the next two major auto shows. Not quite sure though. A lot of the concepts that Toyota came with at the Tokyo Show, were environment friendly kind of falling away from your typical sports car.

They need to get e-mails from Supra owners - genuine owners. They can get all the e-mails in the world, but they won't listen to them simply because the Supra has a cult following as far as being every teenager and ricer's wet dream. They would attribute a large percentage of e-mails to being from kids who could not afford a Supra if their lives depended on it. Oh, and you can imagine the delete button being pushed on the e-mail from "PiMpD_oUt_Si@randomisp.com"

Can I affford a Supra (MKIV)? Yes. Can I afford to maintain, put gas, and most importantly have full coverage on my baby, no. It's pretty easy to weed out who the people are, that will never own a Supra. I'm not one of them. And hopefully the people that emailed them because of my post on here presented their case about producing another generation Supra in an intelligent way. I know what you’re saying though. I would hit the delete button so fast if had gotten an email like:

Unfortunately, not all of us have had the privilege of owning a Supra bestowed upon us yet. I have no doubt that I will have a MK3 or maybe even a MK4 in the near future (1-2 Years). And I'm almost out on my own. Practically I am. I have more money in the bank than most 21-40 year olds have. And I have been holding down jobs since I was 14. I will be making good money in the next couple years. So if a new Supra was introduced in the $30-40 range; I would definitely have a deposite down on one for sure.
