Ok I stumbled across where you contact Toyota Headquarters for any comments, questions,etc. Anyway I saw on their some one asked about the next Supra. And the guy from Toyota answered " At this time, Toyota has no plans to bring back the Supra. We are however, constantly researching the market to identify popular vehicles." I know you are thinking "but XLR8, they already have a concept I saw it on the forum. Well thats what people from Toyota said. And I was thinking why research something like this when its so obvious, and right in front of their faces. When you search the word Supra on the internet, what comes up? Suprastore.com , I-supra, etc. Since they cant notice that thousands of people are crazy about these cars, I think we should give them a hint.
All Im asking is to go on the webpage and plead your best case as to why they should reproduce the Supra. Hell try to get them to put the MKIV back into production. LOL. I just figure with enough of us doing this we could make something happen. Its not impossible you know. Here is where you do it at. It isnt a direct link but you should be able to figure out how to contact them via Emial. And if someone could post this on that "other" Forum I would appretiate that also, seeing as I dont have a account for that certain forum that has to do with Supras also. LOL And if you dont wanna contact them tell me what you think about this.
I hope they are...If they don't then it's like they really dont give a crap about supras because it would only take like 5 minutes, and it only takes 5 minutes to make what could bring someone happiness for many years. We're not forcing you to, but thats like a disgrace to Supras if you dont really.

I love the supra too, but i feel that they will not bring it back for the same reason as they took it off the market..

As I see it they're two things that killed the Sales of the Supra. 1) the SUV craze, and 2) the price. What was the MSRP on Supras (TTs) when they came out? It was like 40-50 or more I saw one when I was younger for 54 grand. What would be the MK5's competition? The 350Z, RX8, Etc. they are all priced in the 35-40 range right? And people are actually buying them, I see those damn things all the time, people are wanting sports car type cars now. And you say they do what they think is best to make "profits", well duh, you would think that they are noticing people are paying gobs of cash for a quality, low mile, Supras. That not to mention that aftermarket part companies wouls be all over it. And you know why? Because of the strong aftermarket support for the MKIV. If you think about it, they are kinda missing out now. There is such a large community of Supra enthusiast, hell we're proof of it, lol. And I just dont think Toyota realizes it. Thats all. Im not asking anybody to email Toyota and waste their time by pleeding for them to remake the MKIV. That was just a joke kinda thing. And you said yourself Blake that they go for what people like now, then I say "WHATS THE F**KING HOLD UP!" they should have released it a year ago.
Look, what the hell would it it hurt you to just write them a damn email anyway? You write a couple paragraphs about the damn Supra, about why they should make the MK5 and you just throw some numbers and info so they see you know what you are talking about, and perhaps take you serious. I know, but there are many people that say they want a Supra. I also included the movie f & f, wich got not only people into cars, but the Supra itself.
I just pleaded our case I also suggested a rerelease of the MK2 body style with the 2jz I pointed out that a 3000lb car with 280hp would decimate the opposition I also pointed out the large number of loyal owners and the lengths we have to go to just to find parts(us MK2 owners)to keep our cars running and performing-You MK3 and MK4 owners have it easy all your parts are on the shelf. We have to make our own or organize group buys and convince the manufacturers to do a limited production run....you havent met a supra fanatic until youve met a MK2 owner
LUV ive already doen this ages back, they replied that they brought it out in 2002 with limeted European sales so they decided there is no point. And if u look under the main suprastore pics category- there is a 2002 model

Yeah in Europe, do I or most of the people on this forum live in europe? No! And that car was never in the states.

Ok, where in there did I say that? And frankly I dont care if they release it in Europe. But you know what? If they had somebody email them from another country like you. I believe there will be another Supra, but steering towards a "not so complex" engine has taken away from a lot of the excitement a new Supra would bring to the table. Toyota has money on the brain as any fortune 500 business, and I'm afraid they'll never find it in themselves to budget the large amount of money needed to get the hammer of God working again for another line of 2JZGTE. We can only hope for something comparable.
