Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. I've heard many stories like this so i dont know what to believe. I wont be happy until Toyota makes a formal announcement. But, if the guy you talked to knows first hand that they will be making another supra and one with a turbo, then that is some really good news. Thanks for the info.

Yeah Nothing like an inline, its just to bad there doing away with it. I dont get there thinking, and i would rather have a 10 year old I6 supra then a V8 supra. Plus i heard the new supra is going to be in the viper price range, with the price difference an older supra would out perform a new one for the same money.

EVO? WRX? Turbo Imports? quote: Sad but true if its a V6 it will have inherent vibration issues and will never attain the horsepower output or reliablity the I6 will always have.
The new IS is making as much power with a NA V6 as the Supra did with a twin turbo I6... quote: I spoke to an engineer from Toyota Manufacturing Group. He said that the new supra will be coming out for 2008. He also mentioned that it will be available as a turbocharged 6 cyl.
We have heard stuff like this over and over for the past 5 years. enough! i also know people at toyota and they say IF toyota were to build another car it would be based on the IS350 and WOULD NOT use forced induction. We wont know anything until Toyota announces it so please stop bringing up all the old speculation. Blitz nur, akimoto + k&n, dp, clamp mod, sping mod, time to get some 100 octane Always imitated, never duplicated
