well my fiance surprised the hell out of me for graduation. she bought me a 1995 Supra Turbo 6 speed. well she knew how I have wanted a car around 600 whp for awhile now, my camaro only got me around 450 before it was stolen and wrecked. I've always liked supra's and a single turbo seemed to make the most sense and from reading in the forums I think I made the right choice. basically for a turbo I am looking for a quick spool (3.8-4.3K rpm) to run around 15psi daily and 24psi for the higher setting, has to lay down at least 600rwhp on 92 octane pump gas. also would love help picking out intercooler/fuel management system/ecu (AEM)/full rails and everything else pretty much.....it's a big change from a built up 350 to a 2JZ motor. thanks for any and all help

thats going to be pretty hard to run on 92 pump gas you are going to need a HUGE turbo for that beause you need better octane for that so 600rwhp on 92 i really dont see how that can be done

ok, I did some searching last night and found a bunch of single turbo dyno's around 600whp. i really don't think it is going to be as hard as you say. i'm not just doing a turbo and exhaust. i want to do turbo/intake/cams/aem ecu/full exhaust/header/downpipe/port & polish the head/3 angle valve job....i know there are plenty of things i can do with this motor to have it create 600rwhp. i don't want 600 for everyday uses, that will be my higher setting. i wouldn't mind around 480rwhp at 15psi everyday though. can anyone give me any ideas other than a huge turbo is the only thing that can do it?

600whp is a lot sure you loose grasp of how much it really is because of all the supras throwing around 700 hp there and 1000 hp there but 600 is a LOT! Hh well they made that on higher octane gas 425-500 is reasonable on 92 ummm well it depends on what you want it for do you want to drag, highway pulls, auto x , or drift and depends on your budget from there you can go any where heres a good place to decide on what your doing it for if you just want good power i would recomend the sp63 or a really amazing kit is the PHR Stage 2+ kit a video of it is right here PHR stage 2+

I really like the T78...well, I like the concept. I've never driven with one but it sounds really nice.

SOU made a post one time about this one from sound performance

SPSSGT800W Low friction cartridge, full GT compressor and turbine wheels, 800 HP capable. Anti surge standard!!

and he said that he heard it makes 18psi at 2800 rpm

600whp can be made with most singles so since 600whp is all you want on max setting something like an sp58 which has the same spool as the stockers but can make much more power is probably where you should start looking.

the T-78 is a good choice its the best bang for your buck cheep and capable of 700+ hp once it hits full boost it just flys like no other like it kicks in all at once and you rocket do you have 2 supras a 95 and a 97 because your sig says 97 but your post says 95

a 58 will run all over a t78 all day on the street. you wont need to upgrade the head with 600whp and aem might be more than its worth at that power level. stick with piggybacks like vpc or map ecu.

well, honestly i'd like it to make around 500rwhp on the lower setting and i'd like to be around 650-700 with the higher setting, i don't know if 650-700 is possible on non-race gas though. i would like this car to be functional as a daily driver and a car to take to the strip occasionally. i want to upgrade all components of the motor. might even get a new shortblock assembly if i don't like the looks of this one. i want to do a new head or modify this one. new ecu, pistons, cams basically everything. i need recommendations on some parts. i like the looks of the sp74 but what rpm range is it going to start spooling? i want the car to be decently fast in town so i don't get my ass beat if i race someone and has to be badass on the highway also. i've got another 40k stashed away to spend on this car, keeping the outside stock except for rims and a big brake kit.

650whp is possible with aftermarket twins and some REALLY good tuning.

the 74 is no joke. while it does not spool until about 4800 it is capable of 900whp with supporting mods. however there is a lack of usable power (4000rpm=150whp).

you should probably be looking in the phr stage 2, t66, sp/pte/bl67, or t78 range. if you really dont want to run race gas then youll have to either get a meth injection or get aftermarket twins.
