hks makes a few single turbos you have to be more spacific. you would have to completly do the fuel system (pumps, injectors, regulator, rail, lines, and something to control the set up, safc, vpc, or aem ecu). i dont know how often you run the 350 shot but you sould save your money for a rebuild. i would tone down the nitrous if i were you it will cost you. good luck

I just read the other day on supraforums.com about this same subject. Almost everyone on there said the 18psi is the max that they would run with a stock fuel system with a single. But like Super sign guy said, thats what you need to make big power with a single. Also a very good tune too.

quote: You need to learn more about your car and it's limitations before you even consider a turbo upgrade. The stock 550cc injectors are matched well with the stock turbochargers, as you pretty much run out of fuel at the same horsepower level as your turbochargers stop being as efficient. When you upgrade your turbo, unless you get a smaller single turbo upgrade, you are going to need more fuel and a piggyback to control your air/fuel ratio. Man, I REALLY suggest that you start reading HEAVILY on these Supra webpages. Your twin turbochargers are not pushing 18psi per turbo; that is the pressure in the intake manifold, between the turbochargers and the throttle body. You need to get much smaller jets on your nitrous system; 350 is not healthy, no matter how great the 2JZ engine may be. If you love your car and don't want to lose your engine, don't squeeze the juice. Even the guys with big power are only using 75-100 shots. |

word..
that post almost seemed fake b/c of the details...who plans on running a 350 nos shot with a single turbo upgrade of such?? furthermore, if you read the R and D, at a nozzle of 300, the flow is not true....too much turbulence to get true flow..a 350 shot would have to be accomplished by multiple nozzles and some very creative solenoids... 2001 Viper RT/10 (Borla, catless, smooth tubes, eibachs, NXpress 150 wet, etc) 1997 Toyota Supra TT auto-bone stock right now 2001 Toyota 4 Runner (loaded entertainment grocery getter) 2001 Suzuki Katana (stock bike) 1997 chocolate lab (no mods) |

As you say, you have not done any research, why don't you do a bit of reading before posting such stupid questions... -Olivier ----- Your regular car freak...Cheers! |
