I just bought a TT engine,Tranny ,ECU and am trying to plan out the things I need to complete the swap into my N/A, I was wondering whats a good sized FMIC considering I may go with the veilside front bumper but I like the stock one too. Also I wont be going over 450 hp I dont think. thanks

With my swap I used the Blitz v-spec. I chosen this FMIC because I plan to go single as soon as I can. Some people go with smaller cores for less lag like the HKS type S.

28"x12"x3" is usually a pretty good size core that will be good enough for future mods

With the Veilside fmic, the old Spearco I had was perfect. It fits the bumper's slot perfectly.
However if you were you buy a new fmic, might as well buy a new one. Buy an eBay one. I bought mine from SSAutoChrome. Mine was 24x12x3 and I got it for under 200 shipped. They have 24x12x4 too, but I think that's overkill for my needs. - _ - _ - _ - _ - _ - _ - _ - _ - _ - _ - _ - _ - _ - _ - _ - _ - _ - _ - _ - _ - _ - _ - _ - _ - _ - _ - _ - _ - _ 2000 GS400 |
