well my moms 87 supra is bouncing all over the place, i dont think it is safe, does anyone know if the struts, shocks or springs that can be replaced to fix this problem?
ive been reading and discovered there are no shocks on the supra? at first i thought that the bouncing was from blown shocks but now im just confused, can strust be blown too? or are the springs bad?
thanks sorry im a noob

Same thing happend to me in my 88. I even got some air when I hit a bump the shocks were so bad! Get the KYB's they're awesome Tokico is good too..
BTW ditch the TEMS they are worthless.
Good luck and while your down there you might as well lower it if you do change the springs Eibach is great.

Who needs a big block when you can get more horsepower for less with a Turbo |6?

i prefer koni shocks over any other shock. they're not as harsh as bilsteins, but much better than kyb's, tokiko's, etc..

and it really depends on what you're doing with the car for what springs you get. i personally hate my eibachs with a passion. i'm getting a linear rate spring, or a coilover most likely...

I had a blown shock on my rear pass. side so i just replaced the whole lot with eibach springs and tockico illumina 2's for just under 650 dollars from jcsspeed.com i believe. I was very impressed with how smooth the ride stayed after an inch drop and with the tems i payed a little more but i thik its worth it for the different driving circumstances. if you dont have tems of want to get rid of it you will spend about 100 less. It feels like a new car again and its an 88! good luck
