My 89TUrbo supra (NON-Tems) has 160K miles on it, it most likely has original springs, and the struts were last replaced at 90K miles, or 10 years ago.

I'm thinking my suspension can be better, feels a bit bouncy, but I have nothing to compare it to really.

I was wondering if anyone knows how long springs last on a supra, and how long struts last. This is just a approximate life.

Also what is a good recommendation for new struts and springs on a SUpra Turbo. I don't want a rediculous hard ride either.

THanks

Eibachs have a progressive spring rate and the ride won't feel bouncy at all, depending on the shock you pair it with. I had to go the cheap route with KYB's. If you can afford it I would pickup some coilovers. I would kill for a nice set of Tein's or some HKS Hypermaxes.

i have eibachs, and i hate them. Frown i coupled them with Koni yellow shocks, and i love the konis.

if i were you, i'd save for coilovers right from the start! i wish i did...

What about Megan? my buddy has their adjustable coilovers on his Teggy and he swears by 'em...

Megan is acutally starting to gain momentum in the industry. lots of their stuff is high quality, but inexpensive.

i have no input on them because i've never been in a car with them, nor do i have them myself, but they look like they're damn good quality.

These do look nice and the price is also attractive.

Are there any coilovers available that are TEMS compatible?

Thanks,

Brad

nah, you don't want to keep the TEMS anyway. it was cool back in 1987, but it's just plain outdated today.

you'd be better off with a set of TEIN coilovers with the EDFC setup. (much like TEMS, but way more advanced)
