Discount Tire Co has a similar system, but Tire Rack's always got the rims I outright drool over.

Nice rims... sigh. One of these days I'll be able to not worry about what's going to break next and be able to fork out for some sweet wheels.

$5K? I've got you beat and my car's still N/A... ugh.

I just splurged today... really needed to, my rear rims are both warped. I found a while ago that a specific size of the MB Drifter carried at Discount Tire was discontinued and selling for less than a set of steelies! $200 for 4. They're not listed as available in CO, but I have a friend who works there so they're being shipped here. Not the best looking wheel, stock width 7", but they're lighter and 5 spoke... it's a start. Later they'll become my winter rims.

Here are the rims I ordered: http://www.wheelsbymbmotoring.com/product.php?wheel=Drifter

They're 17" x 7", offset's 40. You guys think they'll look alright on a white MKIII? They can't be worse than sawblades...right?

DUDE!!! Please hook me up! I would be ETERNALLY grateful if you could help me get a set...

I'm running on Slicks my tires are so bald, but I don't want to buy new tires and then just get new rims AND tires later...

What is it you need? I don't get any massive discounts or anything... unless you're looking for used tires, but then you'd have to come to Colorado to pick them up. Those, my friend has to buy in person. Wink

See my previous post for added info about the rims I ordered.

Nope, $200 is just for rims, not including tax or shipping (if applicable).

midnight's rims are SWEET! The ones I'm getting are just a step up from stock, but I can actually afford them... I'll be waiting on getting tires though. Frown
