I have an 89 Turbo Targa with about $7000 in performance modifications, several spare factory parts including a head/block/crank set complete with manifolds as well as 2 used stock turbos. I put a new clutch disk in it two weeks and maybe 500 miles before it started smoking from the PCV system. It looks to have ring problems. It starts and runs well, but it is evident it has started losing a little compression.
