I have Racing Hart C5's on my Supra right now. I'm running 18x9.5 in the fronts and 18x11's in the back. I currently have 235/40/18 in the fronts and 275/35/18's in the rear. I was told that I should get bigger tires to get more traction. A friend of mine I can prob run 295's in the rear and maybe at least 255's in the front, I'm not sure how that works so if someone with these wheels specs can point me in the right direction.

i have 245 on the front right now and it rubs when i turn the wheel all the way. the stock rim can hold a 295 so your 18x11 should have no problem with it.

Aren't the stock rear like 17x9.5's or something? So if it can hold 395 how big can I go on the rear?

305s should work. i think the biggest tire that will fit on a supra is a 315. that might fit on there too.

I saw this who is running 18x9.5 and 18x10.5's

He's running 265/30/18 Fronts and 295/30/18 Rears. I was told when I purchased my Supra that the rear was 18x11 but not surely sure. Anyways I think I might run the numbers this guys is running. I was just wondering what the "30" is for. I heard it's the "section height" or something. I'm currently running 275/35/18 and 295/40/18. Just need come clarification on what the center number is and what I should get when I get my new tires.

265s in the front will probably rub. my 245s rub a little. the middle number is the tire profile (aka sidewall). the distance from the inside edge of the tire to the outside edge (i hope that made sence). as for what type of tire what are you looking for (i.e. all season, summer, road race, drag)

That would be what the "30" in 295/30/18:

The sidewall number is a size that differs with section width, i.e. 265, 275, etc. In other words, a 265/35/18 has a skinnier sidewall than that of a 295/35/18, for example. It increases as section width increases.
