I'm debating about getting these racing hart CXR
Wheels they only come in 19's.
Is putting 19 going to mess with the cars handling and will it be that much of a difference in ride comfort from 18?
Thanks
Black 1997 supra TT

as long as the offset is right and you dont get too wide of a wheel (or else you will be rolling your fenders).

In that case how’s 245/35ZR19 FRONT & 275/30ZR19 REAR
By the way the rims are 19X8.5 & 19X10.
Would you happen to know the offset with these ties?
Are there any other problems I would have if I mounted these?
Thanks

They should be able to provide you with a Supra spec offset. Companies will make diff rims, but with diff offsets depending on what car it's going on. You are looking for around a +40 offset to be good.

If you want to be safe, run a 235 in the fronts. Any offset less than +35 is unacceptable as the tire will likely run against the fenders.

I have 19x8 in the Front with 235x45's and 19x10 in the Rear with 285x35's and have no problems at all with rubbing. Wink

235/45?? You sure it ain't 235/40?? With a 45 sidewall, that's pretty tall.

Also what's up man? Haven't seen you around. Good to see another NA-T, esp 97 Smile

How much are you pushing and at what psi? Have a chart of the dyno too? I wanna see if you have that lean spot around 4000rpm.

Yeah my bad that was a typo. 235x40 is what I meant.

Well with the mods listed in my sig I am pushing 422 RWH and 430 TQ @ 15 psi. Here is a pic of the dyno chart.

Yup the stock w58 is still in the car and still kickin. Big Grin No problems thus far. It was rebuilt about 6k ago and seems pretty sturdy.

I'm in the process of looking for a 6-speed before I go any further with the motor...

What kind of #'s are you putting out??

No it isn't listed in the mods. It was swapped with a Toyomoto 3mm HG.

Any engine bay pics? What's the size of the Spearco, 24x7x3.5"?

I'm still amazed at the numbers at just 15psi.

Oh and I messed up again with my typing. I guess I'm retarded. I got to looking at my tires and the rears are 285/30/19 and the fronts are 245/35/19.

Yea I figured the tires were smaller since they are 19" wheels, but some people run some tall tires.

Anyways... did you mess with timing at all or is it still at stock 10 degrees?

I'm not sure if they tweaked the timing or not when the dyno tuned the car. I would say they bumped it but I couldn't tell you for sure since I wasn't there when they did the tune.

After reading about 19" tires on NJ roads, I'm going to get 18 volk rims. Anyone know of a good place in Jersey to get Volk wheels and tires? Also I have to get a turbo timer installed anyone know of a place.
thanks

Nice wheels, I was looking at the same ones, I think they wanted 4G for them with Pilot sport sp2 tires. Hows the car handle on 19" any diffrence?

Buy your wheels from tirerack.com

You can buy Volks online. I don't think anywhere in NJ stocks them.

As for the turbo timer, what year is your car? I can install it for you if you want. I'm in South Jersey, Camden County. It's really easy.
