hi,
i bought my NA supra lowered on all four suspension, and i did not like keep getting scratch on the bottom and lots of rubbing in the front, so i decided to swap in the stock suspension. I found a person selling a whole set of suspension but it was from a TT supra. After installing the rear, the height looks way higher than i thought, the front actually fit pretty well. The rear looks like is sitting way to high for some reason. There are 2 possiblities.. i might have made a mistake on installing the suspension.., or the TT suspension are different than the na,?. the last owner had the car lowered so he had to put R215/50 with all four wheel, here is some picture i took last night please let me know what you think the problem http://mysupra1995.myphotoalbum.com/view_album.php?set_albumName=album08 1995 Supra na 200k |

i know this is late but it prob. is because the tires have so much rubber depending on what size you get. the stockers have a lot more and make the wheel gap (between tire and wheel well) look smaller. the only thing lowering will do is help with performance and handeling, because the center of gravity will be lower to the ground thus makin it handle so much better.
im not sure there is much you can do to it to get rid of the wheel gap. i lowered my last car (chevy malibu) bcuz i dont like how it looks propped up in the back...i like it all to be the same height. |
