Hello i'm a 39 year old father, i will have been in the United States Marines for 20 years this upcoming august i currently hold the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.. i'm new to supras well more importantly the 2jz i have a 17 year old son who i bought a 02 camaro ss when he was 16 we did a bit of work to it but he has recently grown into import cars he wanted to buy civic and do some work to it but i rescued him from front wheel drive.. so i try to keep up with his life i noticed he loves this movie Tokyo drift and it had a 67 mustang in it while i despise fords he seemed to like it... i thought it was because of the classic nature but it turns out it was because of the engine a nissan RB26... well i was with a friend at a classic car swap meet and i saw a 66 fastback which is very similar to the 67 in the movie... so i forked out the $600 dollars for the mustang which to me is overpaying for a stang... well i'm trying to start a project me and him can work on and have some fun and i don't mind forking the money over because he is a good kid A's and B's does his chores and has great morals . So after doing some research i decided it would probably be better to do a 2JZ swap rather than the RB26 swap as in the movie.. and trust me i've had to do alot of research where i am a total GM fan... so my only questions as of right now are where are good places to get 2JZ parts 2JZ tranny's and Standalone ECU to control the engine
