if there is room it can be done. the header attaches to the exhaust port on the head. the turbo attaches to the manifold.
on the compressor side if the turbo the pressure pipe goes to a intercooler then to the intake manifold.
also if this is a 2008 supra you wont see anything for it till 2010 buy the time the R&D is done IF some one makes parts for it

I'd be shocked if you every saw anything for the 2008 Supra, seeing as it's not coming. There have been rumors flying for years, with sketches and magazine articles, but the truth is, it's just not coming. Toyota's ditching both the Celica and MR-2, and Lexus' LF-A was just a concept. They barely even make a "sporty" car any more. Face it, if you're a Toyota sports car lover, you better learn to love the older cars, because that's all there is.

There are so many rumors about a new Supra but no confirmed reports from Toyota saying anything. The economic fact is that Toyota will hurt its flagship Lexus models if it comes out with something as great as my MKIV (94TT auto). The new Supra, (if there ever is one) will probably have horsepower between a Celica and a GS400. After all Toyota doesn’t want to hurt some Metrosexuals feelings when some 17 year old smokes his new GS400 with a Toyota.
PS: A message for all you people who think a supra MKIV stick shift is better than an automatic...You need to go back and learn more about turbo charged engines.

You can turbocharge any car. 4 cylinder v6 v8 v12. Its a matter of space how much of it u have other then that many people stuff as much as possible into thier engines. As far as the new Supra goes there have been many roomers some say it will be out in 08 now thier kinda leaning towards 09 some say its a hybrid with 425 hp others say its not inline 6 or inline 8. What i suggest is save up ur money kid dont worry about Turbos on a concept car not even complete and out yet once the car is out by then ull know

Given the very noticeable difference in the size of the two engines, I highly doubt this is possible. I'm not really sure why you'd do it though, why not just get a good aftermarket 1FZ head, port it out, and slap together a turbo for it?

From what i understand the local toyota plant here in huntsville is an engine production plant as well as design and testing center and from what i understand from a friend who went to work there as an EE they are testing some high performance engines from durability, reliability, and stamina which he said they only do in the final phase of development before production... also not to get side tracked when u turbo a V engine u can do it several ways a single large turbo utilizing all 8 exhaust ports is really fun i did it to a friends 1969 camaro .. you use 2 headers of the same side say 2 left side headers routing the reversed header around to the other header fabricating a Y pipe then fitting your turbo manifold to the Piping and well u get the idea it's really fun b/c you can use a retarded big turbo on a v engine with great success and little to no turbo lag
