I recently got an 89 toyota supra turbo and I want to know what I can do to get more hp. I dont have a lot of time to work on it because of my job and havent had time to really search so i was wondering if someone here can help me. I want to get a lot of hp and tq but trying to keep the price under 5k

wow a 89 im working on the same year supra now. you can do alot for 5k. first thing i would do is get a big intercooler. there is enough room behind the bumper and in front of the radiator suport.then you can upsize the turbo that will give you a big hp & tQ boost. get some head work done just unbolt the head and carry it to a machinge shop tell them to deck it and go back w/ biger valves and roler rockers. you can do some or all but dont think if you put a new intake or muffler you will get a 100hp incress
that stuff does verey little. but just doing the head work to the max gets you a 65hp boost by itself.
