Names Tim, I'm new to the supra as well as relatively new to tuning. I just purchased an 88 N/A in excellent shape. The engine is getting up to the 160K mark so I have been thinking of doing an overhaul. It doesn't run poorly but I want to do some upgrades and would preffer some "insurance" with my new investment. I have been doing asome research on the subject and have decided to go into a moderate turbo upgrade. My question comes down to wether or not that can be done on the 7mge or do I have to swap it out for the 7mgte. I already have plans to upgrade to the R154 5spd. Thanks for any Info you can give me or direct me to on the subject.
