I recently bought a 1997 tt supra and am currently looking for a body kit. I have a small budget because I'm in college so I am looking for a cheap body kit that looks really good. I saw the bomex kit in The Fast and the Furious and thought that was really good looking but would probably be way out of my price range. I looked online and was amazed to find that I could get the complete kit for only $595. I looked into it more and found out that bomex is changing factories and they are cutting prices up to 90%. Just thought I'd tell you this in case you don't want to spend more than a grand on a body kit.

They got tired of the knock-off kits and decided to whack prices to the general public in order to protect the image/brand. Bold stategy and great for the consumer.

on SF a little while back they had a thread that talked about not shipping and having really bad service.

The shipping wont be bad if you get it from a website or store and not directly from bomex.

if the site has it in stock. things are advertised on sites but they dont actually have the parts so they have to send the order to the factory. just like the dp i ordered off supra store. it took about 3 weeks to get it because the order was sent to a different company. i didnt care though because i was in no rush to get the part. plus i trust supra store. they told me a few days after i ordered that it would take a little longer than expected.

Bomex has gone bankrupt, not crazy.

hmm i havent found a good site that actually sells the bomex?this kind?
