My stock headers/exhaust manifold are warped on my 1990 N/A and I need to get a new one. I am thinking of getting some OBX headers (higher flow) since they are actually cheaper than decent junkyard pieces. Since I am getting these headers I am thinking of getting a high flow catalytic converter (since I already have a aftermarket 2.5" exhaust/catback.--Do high flow catalytic converters really make a difference and am I walking a fine line w/ passing emissions? I was thinking of a Magnaflow unit. Thanks for any input.

Any high flow converter is going to filter out less of the "bad stuff". My car has no converters on it at all. But I kept all the old parts in case E-check comes back.

Just go with suprastore.com's test pipe so you can just bolt a cat on if you absolutly have to. And yes, you should notice a mild performance increase.
