Yes, its a very common upgrade. They look ugly in my opinion though.

The '89-92 tails? If so, yes, it's nearly a direct bolt on. I happen to like the '89+ tails, with a pre '89 front.

Especially if you lightly tint them so that they're a uniform color (rather than the faded center look)

Oh yeh, Slightly tinted tails look great to me on either setup. How do you think it woud look on Silver paint? There are a ton of Mustangs in that combo around my area but I'm not sure.
